At Pyramid Yoga, Power Yoga is taught and practiced in a supportive, non-judgmental, non-competitive environment. Every body is welcome, regardless of age, size, or level of fitness.
I love to teach Sun Salutations. There are so many variations that they never get stale or boring. And, there are multiple variations to every pose, so that every student can feel successful while experiencing the joy of flowing with the breath in a moving meditation.
I love the scope, breadth, and depth of the teacher training course. The modules covered every aspect of yoga - from the physical asanas to the subtle body, from the chakras to chanting, and from the history to the philosophy of yoga. At every step, I was tested, corrected and given feedback, so that upon completion, I felt secure in my knowledge and able to confidently teach. But most of all, I loved the unflagging support and encouragement of Alanna, Andrew, and Avery. I will always be truly and humbly grateful to them for helping me achieve my certificate.
